Dave has been working in construction since 1999, with extensive experience with residential projects large and small. In addition to Dave's wealth of experience and knowledge, he brings an unstoppable drive to deliver to the Details Team.

Dave has a BS in Psychology from Western Baptist College in Salem, Oregon. After graduation, Dave attended the Los Angeles Sheriff's academy in 1988. Dave joined the LA County Sheriff's department as a deputy and worked the courts and patrol officer. After 9 successful years as a deputy Sheriff, Dave moved his family back to Petaluma and joined the family hardware business, “Pini Hardware”, in Novato. While working at Pini Hardware, Dave attended electrical and plumbing trade schools. At the same time he also began working in construction for his father-in-law’s company and developed many specialized trades. In spring of 1999, Dave joined the Sonoma County Sheriff's organization and worked in the court system as a bailiff, but he also continued to work in construction and handyman work while working as a deputy. In 2002, Dave started his own company “Dave's Handyman Service” and was very successful. Dave's Handyman Service eventually was closed as DETAILS of Sonoma, Inc. came to life. Dave is a founding member of DETAILS of Sonoma, Inc.

As a Project Manager for DETAILS, Dave is responsible for all site activity on his projects; he oversees all contractors and communicates with clients on the progress of the project and any changes that may occur.

Dave was born and raised in Petaluma, left the area to go to school in Oregon, work in Southern California, and then returned to Sonoma County in 1987. His family has roots in the area going back to late 1800's.
